The Academy Day 2026/2027

Students are expected to arrive at the academy between 08:30 and 08:45 to ensure they are ready for the start of the school day. Students arriving after 08:45 will be marked as late. Any student arriving after 09:00 without a valid reason may receive a same-day detention in accordance with the Academy's Behaviour Policy.

The school day for Years 07–11 starts at 08:45 and ends at 15:20. This equates to 32 hours and 55 minutes per week.

This timetable has been designed to provide longer learning sessions, allowing students to engage in deeper learning, practical activities, independent thinking, and collaborative work. The final session of the day is dedicated to independent study, reading, intervention, or enrichment activities to further support student achievement.

Period 01 | 09:05 – 10:15 (1 hour 10 minutes)

Morning Break | 10:15 – 10:35 (20 minutes)

Period 02 | 10:35 – 11:45 (1 hour 10 minutes)

Lunch Break | 11:45 – 12:25 (40 minutes)

Period 03 | 12:25 – 13:35 (1 hour 10 minutes)

Period 04 | 13:35 – 14:45 (1 hour 10 minutes)

Independent Study / Reading / Intervention | 14:45 – 15:20 (35 minutes)
