Mybor is Mides Elite Academy’s official online school management platform. It brings together timetables, attendance, behaviour tracking, rewards, academic records and school announcements into one secure place. Whether you are a student or a parent, Mybor is designed to make day-to-day school life clearer and simpler.
Section 1 — Accessing Mybor
Logging in for the first time
- Visit the Mybor Portal Login page (a link will be added to the Mides Elite Academy site at launch).
- Enter the username and temporary password supplied by the school.
- On first login you will be prompted to create a new, secure password.
- Set up optional recovery settings (email/phone) if requested.
Login Tips
- For best experience, use modern browsers such as Chrome or Edge.
- Avoid public computers for regular access; always log out after use.
- Keep your login details private — do not share them with friends.
Section 2 — Navigating the Dashboard
The Dashboard is the central hub inside Mybor. It uses widgets and quick links so you can access the most important information at a glance.

Section 4 — Submitting Work (Students)
- Open Assignments from the Dashboard or the left-hand menu.
- Select the active task and read instructions carefully.
- Attach files (PDF, DOCX, images) using the upload control.
- Click Submit Assignment and wait for the confirmation message.
- If you need to resubmit, follow the teacher’s resubmission policy shown in the task.
Tip: Name your files clearly (e.g. Year9-Science-Ecology-JSmith.pdf) so teachers can identify submissions quickly.
Section 5 — Attendance & Behaviour
Accurate attendance and clear behaviour records help teachers and parents support students better. Use the Attendance and Behaviour sections to check details and raise queries.
If you spot an error in attendance
Contact the school office immediately with the date and details. You can email info@midesacad.uk and the team will investigate the record.
Understanding behaviour logs
Behaviour entries include the date, teacher comments, and any actions (detention, restorative justice, praise). If you disagree with an entry, request a meeting with the teacher or contact the pastoral team through the school office.
Section 6 — Announcements & Events
All school-wide announcements will appear on the Dashboard. The Calendar shows upcoming events—click an event to see full details, permissions, and RSVP options if required.

Section 7 — Security & Privacy
Protecting your account and your child’s information is very important. Please follow these best practices:
- Choose a strong password and change it periodically.
- Do not share passwords or recovery codes with others.
- Enable any available two-factor authentication (2FA) if offered.
- Report suspicious activity or unknown logins to info@midesacad.uk.
Section 8 — Troubleshooting & Support
Common Questions
- Q: I forgot my password.
- Use the Forgot Password link on the login page. If that fails, email info@midesacad.uk with your full name and account username.
- Q: I can’t log in.
- Check your network connection, try a different browser, and ensure your username is correct. If issues continue, send a screenshot and the exact error message to info@midesacad.uk.
- Q: Some features are missing.
- Mybor is updated in phases. If a feature isn’t visible, it may be released later. Contact the office for clarification.
