Welcome Back to Another Productive Week

Mides Elite Academy is pleased to welcome students, staff, and families into another exciting and productive academic week as the Summer Term continues progressing positively. Across the academy, students have returned with growing determination, stronger classroom focus, and increasing confidence within lessons.

Teachers continue working closely with learners to strengthen academic progress, encourage positive behaviour, and support students through assessment preparation across multiple year groups.

▶ Academic Focus This Week
Students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 have continued focusing on revision, coursework organisation, examination preparation, and improving independent study habits. Teachers have introduced additional classroom intervention activities designed to help students strengthen confidence before future assessments.

Departments across the academy have continued providing additional support sessions, revision guidance, and progress monitoring to ensure students remain fully prepared academically throughout the Summer Term.

Celebration Assembly and Student Recognition

Friday’s Celebration Assembly remained one of the most anticipated moments of the week, recognising students who demonstrated excellence academically, socially, and personally throughout academy life.

Academy leaders praised students for showing increasing maturity, resilience, and determination during an important stage of the academic year while continuing to uphold academy expectations positively.

Sports and Student Wellbeing

The Physical Education department continued promoting student fitness, wellbeing, teamwork, and participation throughout the academy through a variety of sporting activities and practical lessons.

Students participated in football sessions, athletics preparation, basketball training, and general fitness development activities designed to improve teamwork and physical confidence.

Pastoral teams continued supporting student wellbeing through mentoring, organisation guidance, positive behaviour encouragement, and discussions surrounding healthy academic routines and revision balance.

Creative Arts and Digital Development

The Art and Media department continued showcasing impressive student creativity throughout the week as learners developed digital presentations, artwork, design concepts, and creative media projects.

Mides Elite Academy continues developing its digital communication systems, including website improvements, academy updates, student recognition features, and enhanced accessibility for families and visitors.
